Alar's Wastewater Treatment Chemicals Product Line

Alar's lab develops the Perfect Match on each individual waste stream. We carry a full line of polymers and several grades of filter media, defoamers, metal reducing agents, carbon, bentonite clay, and an odor-reducing chemical.

Diatomaceous Earth (Filter Media) Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • This is an inexpensive natural mineral with honeycomb structure that is ideal for filtering. Some of Alar's D.E. filter media brands are: FA-120, FA-140, FA-200, FA-400, FA-500, FA-600, and FA-800.

F-201 Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • F-201 is a pH purification chemical.
  • Helps change the charge in the wastewater to start the coagulation process.
  • Packaged in 50-pound bags.

Perlite (Filter Media)

  • This is a hydrated, naturally occurring volcanic rock with good clarifying power and large throughputs. Some of Alar's Perlite filter media brands are: PA-700S, PA-900S, PA-1500S, PA-1800S and PA-1900S.

Carbon C-1240 Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Carbon C-1240 is a virgin granular activated carbon made from select grades of bituminous coal. It is especially designed for liquid phase applications and is capable of withstanding repeated backwash procedures without particle degradation and the consequent reduction of particle size. The typical applications include potable water and wastewater treatment, dechlorination, dissolved organic removal, etc. It is NSF certified for use in waste treatment plants.

Lime Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Helps adjust pH levels to achieve needed precipitation goals.
  • Packaged in 50-pound bags.

Alar One-Step Bentonite Clay Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Unique formula that absorbs the particles and helps encapsulate and remove suspended solids from wastewater.
  • Packaged in 50-pound bags and Super Sacks.

Polymers Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Increases flow rates, enhances effluent quality, and provides cost savings. Provides a wide range of emulsion polyacrylamides, both anionic and cationic blends used for both coagulation and flocculation.
  • Packaged in 5 - 55 gallons, and totes.

Defoamers Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Easter, Silicone, Water and Oil based products that work at a wide pH range.
  • Packaged in 5 - 55 gallons, and totes.

Odor-X Deodorizer Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Masks foul odors resulting from stored run-off, flexo wash-up, and boiler blow down waters.

Metal Reducing Agents Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

  • Precipitates complexed or chelated metals
