We are thrilled to announce that Hornady Manufacturing Company has been honored with the prestigious 2023 Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award by members of the @Water Environment Federation (WEF) Award & Recognitions Community. This remarkable recognition is a testament to Hornady's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest water quality standards.
Hornady will be officially celebrated at WEFTEC on Tuesday, October 3rd, during the WEF Awards and Presidential Celebration, with Dallas Powell receiving the award.
At Ovivo, we are immensely proud to have played a pivotal role in Hornady's journey to excellence. Starting in 2019 Alar Water Treatment LLC upgraded Hornady’s wastewater treatment systems with the Auto-Vac sludge dewatering filter, followed by the installation of three cutting-edge Flex-O-Star Series II wastewater treatment systems.
This transformation wasn’t just about improving efficiency; it also earned Hornady the 2021 Nebraska Water Environment Association Award for Best-in-Class Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility and now, the esteemed 2023 WEF Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award.
In 2022, Alar continued to support Hornady in expanding their commitment to sustainable water management with another Ovivo system and this year they are preparing for even greater production growth with the Series II-660 system, set to be installed in 2024.
