ALAR's customer Paragon Water Solutions (Bottineau, ND) is featured in an article in the North Dakota Business Magazine "Environmental Stewardship". Angela Bercier, president of Paragon talks about protecting the environment and the health/safety of its North Dakota citizens.
Environmental concerns is the use of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) which uses water pressure to create fractures in rock as deep as two miles below the surface, thus allowing the oil and natural gas contained in the rock to escape and flow out of the well.
After researching the different ways to clean fluids on the rigs, Paragon discovered the ALAR Auto-Vac Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter. ALAR has the advantage of recycling much of the water which results in benefits to the environment as well as cost savings.
